This is unfortunate -- I'd seriously like to see some of the actions currently available in Cobook made available in LaunchBar.
Hm, the “actions currently available in Cobook” (edit, delete etc) do not act on the contact in the Contacts.app. These actions work on the contact in Cobook.app and then get synced to the contacts on your mac or to your contacts in iCloud. These are no direct edits although they are almost directly reflected. If you look in /Users/~/Library/Containers/com.cobookapp.cobook/Data/Library/Application Support/Cobook/ you can see, that Cobook holds a plist for each contact (folder: “Contacts”) and .vcf backups too (folder:“Backup”).
What I mean is, that Cobook is an addressbook app on it's own, which acts on it's own and naturally offers such actions - imagine an address book, that you cannot edit. You can even “disconnect” the Contacts.app from Cobook, see Cobook's preferences to avoid syncing with the Contacts.app.
Given the systemwide shortcut and ease of use of Cobook in general as well as with it's built-in shortcuts (cmd+N, cmd+L to enter or quit Edit-mode), I would surely not use LaunchBar for these tasks if it would offer these actions - I would do it in Cobook. But maybe I would like to be able to access Cobook's contacts through LaunchBar.

Kind regards,
Bernd
