Chrome downloads *.crdownload indexed prematurely

I am using Launchbar 6.1.5 (6112). I often tag a file when I download it with a particular tag and pull it up later using the tag lookup from launchbar. Only since the newest version , I notice that while Yosemite has the file correctly referenced, launchbar index has the file "mid-download" referenced. For example for a tag "imp_file" with file name "my_imp_file.pdf", the launchbar index will have the file "my_imp_file.pdf.crdownload" in its index ..since this file no longer exists once the download is completed..my tags often turn up missing files from within launchbar.

In finder the file is still referenced correctly with "imp_file" tag for the "my_imp_file.pdf" file.

Any ideas how to fix this.
