Two things to keep in mind:
1) On my machine, using Send to.. (set to double tap the Fn key on my Mac) or using Clipmerge requires two very quick taps of the keys to activate Launchbar. So if you have any pause between the keystrokes, I'd keep it pretty short.
2) I think Quickeys 4 was last updated for OS X Lion…when dinosaurs roamed the earth. (That may not be the problem, but I'm just saying…)
It may be better to approach this in a way that simplifies the course to your desired goal. Instead of using a macro program to simulate keystrokes in Launchbar and Filemaker, if you just want to append one field's contents to those of a second, you could easily do that within Filemaker, and have it put those results in another (hidden) field. Another approach would be to use Applescript to copy the first field's contents into a variable and then append the second field's contents to that variable.
Good luck!
