Not to wee on everybody's fire here, but when I'm looking at a file in Launchbar, I just
* Alt → (shows the object metadata)
* ↓ (you may need a couple of taps - this takes you to the 'path' attribute of the item)
* CTRL C (puts the path on the clipboard)
If you wanted to get the path to the containing folder, just back up with ← before you follow these steps through.
I know other solutions will work in other parts of a workflow or set of actions in LB, but this is the quick one I use.
