Just updated to Version 3.3.1 nightly (4055) yesterday I believe, and when I try to send email through my ISP it is not recognizing the DNS change fromsmtp.comcast.net done internally I guess through comcast to smtp.g.comcast.net.
It causes my e-mail app to hang and I need to force quit the app due to this.
When I looked at the monitor I noticed the smtp.g.comcast.net was there and no reference to the original smtp.comcast.net that had been working forever.
I did not change my email settings but I did right click on the red smtp.g.comcast.net and added the rule, so lo and behold my mail is leaving once again with no hanging.
For some reason I suppose that the nightly build is not seeing the dns change provided from the ISP when they reroute the dns from smtp.comcast.net to smtp.g.comcast.net internally in their network.
Please look into this as this might be an issue for other apps not yet found.
OS Mac 10.6.8
Email program Eudora 6.2.4
Yes I have not updated the OS as I have a production machine that runs fine and I love Eudora and no new mail client has come close without a lot of bloat.
