I ought to be able to copy three separate pieces of text and then paste them one after each other, but something seems not to be working. It used to work a few months ago.
For instance, if I select text1 and press cmd-c (or pick "Copy" from the "Edit" menu), then select text2 and press cmd-c, then select text3 and press cmd-c - then only text3 appears in my Clipboard History:

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Clipboard History is enabled in the preferences; toggling ClipMerge on or off doesn't seem to affect the problem.
