You have serious problems, if you think that you need to make someone feel that they don't have a right to privacy. Either you have problems, or you are a shill (which also means you have problems).
Since you seem to have no stake in this discussion, then what the hell are you doing posting? You're trying to protect Little Snitch? Protecting the developer? Protecting yourself from that feeling of wasting money on a product that doesn't do EXACTLY what it says? Tell us, what exactly is your stake in this?
Simply because someone wants to know exactly what does and doesn't connect to and from their computers, is not a reason to start accusing them of pirating software.
If the developer claims that this software does NOT connect, then THEY should prove it doesn't. And that means no more of these "there are conspiracy theories" statements. That's nothing. Prove it. Prove it for all to see. Since they are SOO smart that they know so much more about networking than we in this forum, find a way to prove it. If you are that smart, you should be able to.
If you read Sushiosoyum's posts, you see that the application timed out after a few hours, initially. Then when he blocked LS, it didn't time out, even after 4 days. That says to me that something is happening. Tell me exactly what that is that's happening. Not some vague BS about different versions (especially after the poster said they were the same version).
The application is supposed to block outgoing connections, so prove that it blocks itself and that it doesn't have ANY other way of connecting. Or give us a way to prove it ourselves.
There are a lot of things being said in the world today that aren't true. What motivation would a developer have to be honest? It would ruin his business? That's bull. Most users don't care. But for those who do, prove it. And stop planting shills in your forums.
