Mountain Lion is driving me crazy. I am surprised at how many little routines are phoning out, looking for something, or reporting something, or doing something else. It is so time consuming to Google each one to see whether or not i want it to connect or deny.
The latest is snmplnk. It looks like it is probably just looking for printers. I mean Snitch caught it when i was using the printer routine to create a PDF.
Here is what wikipedia says:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_Network_Management_Protocol
Anybody have any more insight?
Is there a list that Little Snitch users are compiling to help sort out the recommended from invasive connections from OSX Mountain Lion?
