So, I just have to say that the automatic "look at me!" foregrounding of the LS Software Update application is pretty obnoxious. What this means is I either have to have it install (and then be forced to restart right then) or make it temporarily go away (click on "Remind Me Later") … which will only lead to it surprising me again. The issue is that that window grabs keyboard focus. If I happen to be typing when it decides to pop up, I've now (likely & inadvertently) chosen to tell it to proceed with installation.
Why, oh, why, can't it just deal with being put in the background (click on another app's window) & stay there till I'm ready to address it?!
I know this is a bit of a rant, but with the last update (experiencing this very situation), I chose to not give feedback. This time, I guess I'm the only one who feels this way & has decided to say something.
Please please please: allow me to decide what to do when on my computer. I know the update app is running, and not in the foreground. It being there is a nice reminder that the update needs installing & allows me to plan for the relatively rare restart that it'll require.
